This painting is very well done. The lighting and the shadows are all in the right places, the magma seems very real, and the dragon itself is amazing. The length and transparency of the wings make them look realistic and the dragons pose is very dramatic and well proportioned. But, I do see a few problems. The areas around the dragons feet seem a bit too light, which makes it look like the dragon isn't planted hard on the ground but hovering over it a bit. Also, the rocks in the front of the painting need more detail in order for them to look more realistic than blurred out. The blurring out looks better on your background though. All in all, these are only minor problems. I myself tend to be more strict on details which is why I pointed these things out and I understand that you used the coloring tutorial by *sandara, which means that this is sort of a new technique for you. Either way, I really like this painting, so keep up the good work.

A very nice work of art overall. The lighting is what really gives this piece depth and perception- and you managed to pull it off very well. Along with the rough and smooth blend of styles and the excellent coloring, I'd say this is one of my favorite pieces by you so far.

Back to the lighting. I really like the way you made the eye appear to glow. And the ground as well. It really does hold a likeness to magma.

You used a very dynamic pose as well. Coupled with everything else, this picture is really 'brought to life.'
